Ramen Noir expansion: drinks, a manager and comfort objectives
Return to Banor after the first opening quest. The expansion chain combines drinks and service with a Manager hire, a business conversation and comfort objectives. The Manager step waits for Ramen Noir’s Level 3 unlock, so keep serving meals while completing the other requirements.
For the starting drink, buy a Drink Machine from Beniamin Vang in Meridian Market and supply Beer with Wheat. Later, place one plant and two decorations inside Ramen Noir; buying them without placing them is not the same objective.

The quest has several gates, not one furniture purchase

Work on the drink and comfort requirements while the restaurant’s meal count grows. Do not close a supplied venue simply because the final hire is still locked. Use the active journal text to identify the remaining step; a grey objective can mean its preceding conversation has not happened yet.
Buy, place and supply the first drink
- Visit Beniamin Vang, the Meridian Market hardware vendor, for the Drink Machine.
- Return to Ramen Noir and place it at the objective marker. An item carried in inventory is not installed equipment.
- Use the Beer recipe learned from Nola Berg during the opening sequence.
- Buy Wheat from a Baker or Farmer and transfer it into the venue’s appropriate storage.
- Add Beer to the venue menu and expand any red requirement icon before waiting for service.
- Check an actual order and the journal’s drinks objective. More Wheat will not satisfy a missing machine.
Get the staff and Manager prerequisites in order
Neoseeker’s Ramen-specific account places the third staff slot at Level 2. Banor counts among the staff, so the original waiter brings the starting team to two. Hire for an uncovered job instead of assuming all three people can do everything; the guide recommends cleaning coverage as the room becomes busier.
Once the venue reaches Level 3, select Ramen Noir at the Meridian Market job board and hire/assign a Manager. Confirm the assignment and working shift. Follow the Manager unlock guide for the role distinction, then apply Update 4’s own target and budget controls.
If Banor will not discuss business, check the third hire and Ava’s shift explanation before repeatedly buying decorations. That conversation also points you toward Clem and Green Thumb; the farming chain can run alongside the remaining comfort work.
Place items that match the comfort objective
Beniamin’s decorative items include a Clock, Jukebox, Nostalgic Radio and Vinyl Player. The walkthrough distinguishes decorations from their comfort contribution: some small props count as decor without adding comfort. Inspect the item category and effect before using appearance alone to choose.
For plants, use the home-furniture vendors in a reachable district such as Eastern Residential, Central Canyon or Hive Mall. The plant procurement guide explains alternatives and trade restrictions. District-point thresholds differ between current guides; use the requirement shown on your map.
- Place the plant within Ramen Noir, not at your apartment.
- Place two suitable decorations and check the journal after placement.
- Confirm the venue’s Level 3 requirement and return to any remaining marked conversation.
When the journal completes the expansion chain, move on to farming or the separate permit quest. This quest is not itself a replacement for a Business Permit.
