Inherited debt and loan repayments: keep operating cash in view

Released-game guides · sources checked October 10, 2026

The short answer

The debt inherited with Ramen Noir and a new loan are different obligations. The October 4 debt guide reports a starting 50,000-Lim debt and end-of-day choices labelled 5%, 10% or 15% of that day’s profits. Read your own summary’s wording and deduction rather than taking a percentage of the entire opening debt.

A larger reported repayment share leaves less cash from that day for stock, wages or expansion. Choose against the next service’s needs; this page does not invent a lender location, interest formula or guaranteed debt-free day.

  2. Separate borrowing

Keep inherited debt separate from borrowing

Two money tasks that should not be merged
TaskWhat to checkWhat the other task does not establish
Repay the inherited restaurant debtEnd-of-day summary, deduction and remaining debtClearing it is not evidence that a separate loan was paid.
Take a new loanThe active lending quest, NPC and offered termsOwning Ramen Noir does not supply a verified Calhoun route.
Pay back a separate loanIts own outstanding balance and termsThe inherited-debt percentage is not automatically this loan’s interest rate.
Keep a venue runningCurrent cash, wages, supplies and recurring expensesA debt payment alone does not measure restaurant profit.

The same competitor identifies debt-free and loan-repayment achievements as different tasks. This guide does not reproduce old achievement percentages: those were a dated player-population snapshot, not a current probability that you can finish.

Compare the next payment with the next service

  1. Read the day’s summary, its stated profit basis and the repayment options.
  2. Record the actual cash available after the displayed expenses.
  3. List the ingredients, wages and other known costs needed to reopen the current venue.
  4. Separate optional equipment/expansion purchases from those operating needs.
  5. Choose the repayment option using the displayed deduction, then inspect the resulting cash and outstanding debt.
  6. Repeat after another comparable day rather than assuming one choice stays affordable forever.

The percentages above are attributed to the guide’s reading of the end-of-day screen. They are not a fixed number of Lims per day or a verified interest/principal formula. If your current screen uses different wording or amounts, record those instead of forcing the old example onto it.

A simple cash note that does not promise profit

Fill with your own values before the payment
LineUse an observed amount or stated need
Cash after the day’s ordinary expensesRead the summary/account balance; avoid adding revenue twice.
Chosen debt deductionUse the amount shown for the selected option.
Next required ingredientsCurrent menu and real procurement needs, not the list as a paid receipt.
Next payroll and other recurring costsKnown costs for the staff and venues you actually operate.
Optional spendingNew appliance, furniture or venue purchase that can be considered separately.

This is an editorial planning sheet, not an in-game calculator or a tested optimal repayment schedule. If operation already loses money, borrowing to fill the gap does not identify its cause. First use the venue cost audit to separate ingredients, wages and one-time purchases.

Measure debt progress without chasing an unsupported shortcut

After payment, compare the recorded debt and remaining cash with the previous summary. A useful result is a deduction you can explain while retaining enough resources to run the intended service. Revenue, wallet balance and debt reduction should not be treated as interchangeable figures.

The older debt article includes large quest-payout and furniture-sale stories. This page does not present those ranges as guaranteed earnings, recommend stripping property or promise that you must rush repayment before an undocumented timer.

If the goal is a second venue, compare its actual permit and acquisition requirements with your cash before taking a new obligation. The exact lender route and borrowing terms need their own complete evidence; a vague “speak to Calhoun” objective is not a useful location guide.
