Why the Restock Ingredients objective keeps returning
Update 4 shows the automatic restock objective only when a required ingredient reaches zero. If it keeps appearing, the developer’s first checks are the venue configuration and menu: a required ingredient may not be sold by vendors, or the daily restocking budget may be too low.
A recurring venue reminder is not, by itself, evidence that a one-time story quest is broken.

Read the new threshold correctly
Older advice describing a below-ten trigger no longer describes this Update 4 objective. The supply targets are separate settings: Lean 2, Normal 5, Extra 10 and Recent Sales. An objective threshold and a desired stock target are different things.
Find the ingredient at zero on the active menu. Expand any red recipe icon for missing ingredient or processor information rather than guessing from a general warning.
Check why the same ingredient is missing
- Match the warning to the correct venue and required menu item.
- Check whether vendors can supply that ingredient.
- Review the daily restocking budget and selected target for that venue.
- Inspect deliveries, venue storage and main inventory for the item.
- Compare the ingredient before and after replenishment, then check whether the menu consumes it again.
Changing notification preferences is not replenishment
Venue Management Settings include whether you receive restocking notifications in the top-left HUD. Changing that preference alters the notification choice; it does not supply an ingredient, provide a missing processor or increase a budget.
Use the stock number and menu requirements to assess the problem even if you choose to hide notifications. If an objective is a named quest step rather than the recurring venue restock reminder, this page does not establish its completion condition.
How to judge the result
A useful result is that the relevant menu ingredient is available and the venue can produce that recipe. If the warning returns when the same required ingredient reaches zero again, inspect repeated demand and replenishment rather than assuming the previous refill never happened.
If stock never rises despite adequate budget and an available vendor item, continue the manager diagnosis and record the unresolved case.
